A person of interest has been identified in the deaths of four Oregon women whose bodies were found within three months of each other, Oregon Live reported.
While the Multnomah County District Attorney’s office did not name, it said there was “not believed to be any active danger to the community at this time.”
Prosecutors said that "one person” is connected to the deaths of Kristin Smith, 22, Charity Lynn Perry, 24, Bridget Leann Ramsay Webster, 31, and Ashley Real, 22. They did not release any further information about the link.
Six weeks ago, the district attorney said they did not believe the cases were connected as rumor of a serial killer on the loose were circulated.
The women's causes of death have not yet been determined.
