President Donald Trump responded Wednesday on Truth Social after reports that Charlie Kirk, MAGA activist and Trump ally, was shot at an event at Utah Valley University.
"We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot. A great guy from top to bottom. GOD BLESS HIM!" The president posted on Truth Social.
Kirk, a prominent right-wing activist known as the founder of Turning Point USA, the largest conservative youth organization in the country, was removed from the premises by his security team.
CNN reporter Kristen Holmes told viewers he was shot during the event. His condition wasn't immediately known.
