CNN analyst wallops Trump with examples of his own anti-Semitism after he calls Democrats the ‘anti-Jewish Party’

The controversy over Rep. Ilhan Omar's (D-MN) comments, perceived as anti-Semitic, spurred Democrats to pass a resolution condemning “anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, racism and other forms of bigotry” Thursday. 

Over the past week, Republicans and President Donald Trump have denounced Omar. Yet, prominent members of the GOP and Trump himself have trafficked in far worse anti-Semitism than Omar, including Trump's refusal to condemn fascist marchers in Charlottesville, North Carolina.

On Friday, Trump said that Democrats have become an “anti-Israel” and “anti-Jewish party.”

Reacting to his comments on CNN, Daily Beast editor Jackie Kucinich ran through Trump's long history of bigotry, calling his condemnation of Omar "shameless."

"The President likes to go to extremes. I think that is what he is doing here," Kucinich said. "It is shameless considering his own not only failing to condemn Charlottesville on the first try. Let's not forget during the campaign he was retweeting memes that showed Hillary Clinton with a Star of David on the back drop of money. It is also anti-Semitic. The list goes on and on and on."
