CNN pundits call Trump a 13-year-old boy: 'He's in his own basket of deplorables right now'

CNN pundits on both sides of the aisle are overcome with shock and disgust over the new Donald Trump scandal. The 2005 hot mic video has Trump in his own words talking about women in the most vulgar of terms and describes him grabbing women by their genitalia and kissing them against their will.

CNN reporter Dana Bash outright called the comment something a teenage boy would say. "It's just not the way most people think and certainly don't -- don't speak that way unless they are as you said in the locker room and maybe 13 and 14-years-old and just learning about things like this," she said.

The panel noted that Trump is already having a problem with women, particularly suburban women, and this isn't likely to help. CNN political correspondent Brianna Keiler said that these simply add to the long list of controversial statements Trump has made about women.

"He has dismissed some of his past comments about women saying that was entertainment. No one respects women more than I do. He sort of tried to reassure people that in private moments he's very respectful. Well, this is a private moment and you hear how he speaks," she noted.

CNN reporter Jim Acosta, who has been covering Trump and the campaign since the beginning said that this latest story spells the end of the Trump campaign.

"You know, I think this could be it," He said. "I mean, I think this is one of those moments that come in a campaign. I think this far exceeds what happened with Mitt Romney's 47 percent moment. This is one of those moments that's can absolutely sink a campaign. And as Dana was saying earlier Donald Trump has had a problem with women voters throughout this process. If you're a female voter on the fence and undecided and thinking maybe you don't like Hillary Clinton so maybe you will vote for Donald Trump this is one of those moments that's will give somebody a tremendous amount of pause."

He went on to note that this dropped just days before the Sunday debate, when Trump was expected to redeem himself after a poor debate performance in the first round. "She has used the term basket of deplorables. There isn't much more deplorable than this. This is the exact definition of deplorable. He's in his own basket of deplorables right now."
