Colbert rips Giuliani’s racism denial: ‘Racists don’t exist- they’re like unicorns and his sense of shame'

CBS Late Show host Stephen Colbert is counting down the days to the election -- aren't we all -- and noted that the campaign of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is not going so well, but that hasn't stopped his surrogates from denying reality

"We are 13 days from the election," Colbert began. "And it is a hard time for those on-board the Trump Train. Because, somehow, it hit an iceberg and is sinking."

"Trump's surrogates are doing just what the passengers on the 'Titanic' did-- remaining calm on the ship and talking about how great it is," he continued. "Just this morning -- just this morning -- Trump got some much-needed support from former New York Mayor and daytime Dracula Rudy Giuliani. Here's what Rudy had to say when asked if Trump was racist."

Showing a clip of Giluiani saying, "To say that Donald Trump is a racist is outrageous. To call anybody a racist is outrageous," Colbert smirked and nodded approvingly.

"Exactly," he told the audience. "To call anyone 'racist,' well racists don't exist. They're like unicorns, or Giuliani's sense of shame -- you can't find it anywhere!"
