Denis Leary joins James Corden for updated version of his notorious hit single: ‘Trump’s an Asshole’

In 1993, Denis Leary graced us with his famous song "Asshole," where he mocks handicapped people and promises to destroy the environment while "wiping [his] mouth on the American flag." Since it came out the same year as former president Clinton's first inauguration, it was only fitting that Leary created a new version for 2016 -- and this time the "asshole" is Donald Trump.

Late Late Show host James Corden, whose recent carpool karaoke with Michelle Obama exploded on the Internet, dressed as Hillary Clinton in a white pantsuit and blond wing. Leary donned a grey Bill Clinton wig and suit for the bit.

"I'm just a regular guy, known for one job," Leary sang. "I'm your average white, ex-presidential slob. I like cheeseburgers and suits and books about defense."

"And I'm girl fighting for common sense," Corden sang. "I got Bill, got Chelsea, I wanna be president. So I 'Dab' on Ellen for that Oval Office test."

"But sometimes that just ain't enough to keep a man like me interested," Leary continued.

"Oh, I know," Corden sang.

"I'm sorry. Again," Leary said.

"And sometimes I vote in favor of war or Don't Ask Don't Tell," Corden continued. "A bad choice. But no matter, how bad, how bad we can be—"

"We've never said Mexicans are rapists on TV," Leary sang.

"Trump's an asshole! He's an asshole! What an asshole!" They both sang as American flags covered their mouths for censorship.

"And I've never asked Russia to hack the U.S.A. or said that my daughter is someone I'd wanna date," Leary continued.

"And Trump University is just a big fraud," Corden rocked on. "And Mexico won't pay for that damn stupid wall."

"Trump's an asshole! He's an asshole! What an asshole! He's the world's biggest asshole," they both rang out. "He won't show his taxes. He won't even try. He's kicking out babies when they start to cry. While wearing a red, white and blue Chinese tie. Why? Because Trump's an asshole! He's an asshole! What an asshole! He's the world's biggest asshole."

"Hillary, are we being bleeped?" Leary asked Corden.

"Yes, Bill, we can't say 'asshole' on CBS," Corden admitted.

"You can't say 'asshole'?" Leary seemed shocked. "So I can say 'ass.' And I can say 'hole.' But I can't say 'asshole'? Hum, but how can you have an ass without a hole?"

"I don't know. I wonder how they'll do this next part," Corden said, alluding to the part of Leary's song known for spelling out the word "asshole." Surprisingly, the censors allowed them to sing the words A—S—S but not the rest of the word.

"Trump's an asshole! He's an asshole! What an asshole! He's the world's biggest asshole," they both sang out. Then the two adorably kissed.

"He's an asshole and he's proud of it," Leary said, as balloons fell around them.
