Trump autographs Bibles as he tours tornado damage in Alabama

On Friday, President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump visited survivors in Alabama after a tornado left 23 people dead.

During his visit Trump was escorted by Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) and Sen. Doug Jones, (D.)

According to multiple sources, Trump signed survivors' bible.

"The crowd cheering when President Trump took a picture with Gatlin, a 12-year-old who has been volunteering at Providence Church all week. The President also signed some bibles," Sally Pitts, a local reporter for WSFA 12, tweeted.

"President Trump is signing bibles for volunteers and survivors at a Baptist church in Alabama," Josh Dawsey, White House reporter for The Washington Post, said.

Trump is scheduled to be in Alabama for only a couple of hours before heading to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, reported The Ledger-Enquirer.
