Dr. Mehmet Oz dropped a new video instructing Americans on how to do a proper squat — but instead the internet wanted to know what happened to his elbow.
In the new video posted on X, the television doctor turned Trump administration member walked around a yard and discussed the importance of exercise and how to work the quadriceps muscles with a classic squat. He's one of the latest Trump officials to release an exercise video since Trump's return to the White House.
As he dropped down into the position and told Americans to "sit back like your bottom is about to touch the toilet seat," he appeared to lose balance briefly and then stood back up. But that wasn't the only thing viewers saw.
Social media users raised questions about the apparent bump Oz had at the end of his elbow.
"Dr. Oz needs to take his elbow to a doctor," user Outspoken, who frequently shares progressive content and has 132,000 followers, wrote on X.
"His elbow has a downstairs apartment," user SundaeDivine, a political commentator with 129,000 followers, wrote on X.
"He and his buddies Bobby and Kegsbreath really need to stop trying to exercise for the cameras. They all three look totally ridiculous. And what is up with his elbow?" Denise Haynes, a liberal commentator with more than 19,000 followers, wrote on X.
"Did 'Doctor' Oz watch his squats video before posting it? If so, did he really say 'ya Jerry, that’s great I look amazing. Post it,'" former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) wrote on X.
"It’s been given its own zip code," George Kane, a frequent political commentator who self-describes as a "businessman," wrote on X.
