Scott Pruitt testified before the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Appropriations Committee for his unethical spending habits.
While Congress grilled him hard, Pruitt came prepared. The Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington released a statement that requested to "review and investigate the process by which ethics advice and determinations are provided to EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and other EPA appointees by agency ethics officials and other legal advisors."
The organization also leaked a collection of Pruitt's talking points that outlined his controversial unethical actions. The document also shows that Pruitt misled and omitted certain information. You can read the full file here.
