'Fag Doritos': Conservatives react to LGBT-inspired rainbow-colored chips for charity with boycott threats

First they came out of the closet and we could not shut the door.

Then they came for our one man-one woman marriages and wanted us to cater their receptions with pizza, and Kim Davis could not stop them.

Then they came for our delicious salty snacks...

Frito-Lay announced today that they are creating "Doritos Rainbows," that will be shipped out to people who donate at least $10 to Dan Savage's It Gets Better Project through this website.

The It Gets Better Project is dedicated to working with teens who are bullied -- letting them know that there is a network of people in the world who will support them and love them and defend them based upon the pledge: "Everyone deserves to be respected for who they are. I pledge to spread this message to my friends, family and neighbors. I'll speak up against hate and intolerance whenever I see it, at school and at work. I'll provide hope for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and other bullied teens by letting them know that it gets better."

Sounds like a nice thing, right? Well played, Texas-based Frito-Lay.

Of course, you know where this is heading since Doritos are part of the Holy Trinity of Conservative Consumables along with Slim Jims (Holy holy, blessed be Jim's name) and Mountain Dew ("Like meth -- but you drink it").

So lets get this freak-out shit-losing boycott-having meltdown started, okay?

The answer to that one is: Hopefully many if It Gets Better can reach out to them using the money donated through the partnership with Frito-Lay.
