Family friend says Duggars are 'praying' for son Josh's recovery: 'It's all they can do'

The Duggar family left a cousin's wedding over the weekend before other guests began drinking alcohol and dancing.

But they discussed scandal-plagued eldest son Josh Duggar with a family friend, who then shared their comments with Radar Online.

"I did inquire with Jim Bob about Josh, and he said he’s getting help and they are all praying for him,” said family friend James Garrett. “It’s all they can do.”

Garrett, who performs a John Denver tribute show in Branson, Missouri, also spoke to the family's three eldest daughters -- two of whom admitted their 27-year-old brother molested them more than a decade ago, when he was a teenager.

“They said, ‘We’re all just going to move ahead and live, we’re all fine,'” Garrett said. “They were forthcoming about it. They have a strong faith, and were all in good spirits.”

Josh Duggar did not attend the wedding of cousin Amy Duggar to Dillon King, but it's not clear whether he has checked into a Bible-based rehabilitation facility in Illinois.

Various reports have indicated the former reality TV star and anti-LGBT activist had failed to attend mandatory meetings and church services at Reformers Unanimous.

His wife, Anna, attended the wedding with her in-laws.

TLC canceled the family's popular reality show after the sex abuse revelations, and Josh Duggar admitted last month to infidelity after his accounts with the adultery website Ashley Madison were revealed.
