Flake to confirm Kavanaugh -- sending Supreme Court nominee to Senate vote: report

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) will vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh despite sexual assault claims against the Supreme Court nominee.

The Arizona Republican, who is retiring after his term ends in January, was considered a swing vote on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which heard testimony Thursday from Kavanaugh and accuser Christine Blasey Ford.

Kavanaugh will go before a full vote in the U.S. Senate.
