Fox guest mocks Eric Trump for saying his dad rose from 'nothing': 'He got a million bucks -- come on'

Eric Trump got the smirk knocked off his face by a Fox News guest when he tried to boast about his father pulling himself up by the bootstraps.

The younger Trump son appeared Friday afternoon on "Outnumbered," where he complained that his father hadn't gotten enough credit for reaching out to black voters and insulted millennial voters as too young to care about policy.

But he stepped into a proverbial bucket by claiming that his dad had risen from "nothing" to become "the epitome of the American dream."

"He's gone from practically nothing to a man who's just," Trump said, before Democratic strategist Julie Roginsky cut him off.

“Nothing?" Roginsky said. "He got a million bucks. Come on, Eric."

Trump continued stomping around with one foot in the proverbial bucket, saying Donald Trump had "built an unbelievable empire."

“He epitomized what America’s all about: Opportunity and working hard and being able to achieve your dreams and what you want to succeed, right?” Trump said, practically begging for validation. “It’s no different than a (Mark) Zuckerberg, right, who went out with a great idea like a Facebook and developed this idea and built it and grew it and grew it and grew it. That is achieving something, right? And I think it’s very different than a person who has been a career politician."
