Fox News reporter explains ‘the reality’ after Giuliani tries to shrug off BuzzFeed bombshell

On Friday, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani tried to downplay the BuzzFeed report alleging the Trump had instructed his former attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress.

"If you believe Michael Cohen, I can get you out of good deal on the Brooklyn bridge," he said in a statement.

But Fox News reporter John Roberts noted that it's not about taking Cohen at his word.

"But here's the reality of it. Robert Mueller's office did a number of interviews with Michael Cohen, sat with him for hours, and felt that he had given them information that was important enough to their investigations that they sent a note to the judge who recently sentenced Michael Cohen, saying that his cooperation with the special counsel's office deserved leniency," Roberts noted.

"He told them something, no question."
