Giuliani claims Barr can hide large parts of Mueller report because 'other people' besides Trump have executive privilege

Appearing on Face the Nation, President Donald Trump's legal advisor Rudy Giuliani bizarrely extended executive privilege to more than the president as a reason for Attorney General Bill Barr to hide large portions of special counsel Robert Mueller's report.

Speaking with host Margaret Brennan, the former New York City mayor was pressed about Trump interfering in the report by claiming "executive privilege."

"The president can’t wave all executive privilege” Giuliani asserted before adding, "There are also other people who have executive privilege."

Pressed once more about Trump inserting himself, he stated, “I don’t know. The AG has said he’s going to put up the maximum amount possible. The only thing that will stop him will be legal barriers.”
