Giuliani now demanding special counsel Mueller show evidence of a crime before Trump will agree to interview: report

According to a late Friday report in the New York Times, President Donald Trump's legal adviser Rudy Giuliani said he has set new conditions for the president to sit down with investigators working for special counsel Robert Mueller.

The reports states that the former New York City mayor told the Times, "Robert S. Mueller III, needs to prove before Mr. Trump would agree to an interview that he has evidence that Mr. Trump committed a crime and that his testimony is essential to completing the investigation."

According to the report, Giuliani admitted that Mueller was unlikely to agree and that he can be expected to try and compel Trump to appear for questioning.
