GOP congressman gets buried in mockery over his perplexing rant about water bottles and the Mueller report

On Wednesday, House Judiciary Committee ranking member Doug Collins (R-GA) blasted Democratic chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) for wanting to subpoena special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

And by way of an extremely confusing analogy with Democrats' skepticism of the release of the Ken Starr report on Bill Clinton, Collins held up a pair of water bottles.

"I'm glad we're using props today, because this is what's happening here," said Collins. "The Chairman wants you to look at one thing, when the reality is another thing. He's wanting you to look at this bottle of water and say this is full, and then he's wanting you to look at this bottle of water and say it's full too."

"It doesn't work!" Collins exclaimed. "You can't say the Starr report, or even going back to impeachment, which we'll get to in a minute, and then come along and say Mueller is full too! Is this the same? They're not the same."
