President Joe Biden said his son's California home is in danger of burning down amid surging wildfires around Los Angeles.
Biden on Wednesday said Hunter Biden's Los Angeles home was thought to have been destroyed — but its fate wasn't immediately known, according to USA Today.
"There's only one piece of good news. My son lives out here. They got a notification yesterday that their home was probably burned to the ground. Today, it appears it may still be standing. They're not sure," Biden said, according to the report.
Biden's remarks come after he pardoned his son last month for federal gun and tax evasion charges. He told the news outlet Hunter has been sober now for six years.

The fast-moving infernos have killed at least five people and forced more than 80,000 to evacuate.
The two largest fires in the area, the Palisades and Eaton fires, have burned about 25,000 acres combined as of Wednesday evening. Both were zero percent contained.
Fire officials have estimated that the Palisades Fire destroyed 1,000 buildings. Over 300,000 homes and businesses were without power in the region.
