Hunter Biden came to Washington D.C. Wednesday to shame House Republicans pushing for an impeachment of his dad despite the notorious lack of a smoking gun.
"They have taken the light of my dad's love, the light of my dad's love for me and presented it as darkness," Biden said outside the Capitol. "They have no shame."
Appearing on Capitol Hill, Hunter Biden decried the "MAGA right" he said used his past struggle with addiction to target his father, who he said is innocent of the corruption claims Republicans have made, for political gain.
"Republicans do not want an open process where Americans can see their tactics...or hear what I have to say," he said. "What are they afraid of?"
He also said he'd been hounded by former President Donald Trump.

"For six years, I have been the target of the unrelenting Trump attack machine shouting "where's Hunter?" he said. "Well, here is my answer, I am here."'
Biden has offered to address corruption claims in an open session in the House of Representatives, but that offer was refused by Republicans who demanded the interview take place behind closed doors.
