After Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents busted a person in Waltham, Massachusetts, they left the 12-year-old boy that person was with stranded and unsupervised, WBZ News in Boston reported on Tuesday evening.
Agents "were seen on camera leaving the boy by himself on a sidewalk after arresting the person he was with on Felton Street on Sunday, May 4. Neighborhood Watch volunteers were able to get the boy home safely," said the report, noting that the boy was informed of his rights before being escorted home.
Colleen Bradley-MacArthur, who sits on the Waltham City Council, said of the incident, "He looks about my son's age. It makes me feel sick to my stomach as a mom, as a human being."
She went on to say that the ICE agents were closely monitoring what the volunteers were doing.
"They rolled their windows down and had their cellphones and were recording us and taking pictures of us," she said.

One ICE agent drove his car onto the sidewalk near her, she added.
"I could tell what he was doing. He was trying to intimidate me with his car," said Bradley-MacArthur.
As President Donald Trump's mass deportation scheme has ramped up, ICE agents are crossing new boundaries to grab people from wherever they can, violently arresting both their targets and sometimes people who try to help them. Trump hopes to allow them to carry out warrantless arrests at schools and hospitals as well. In one case, an international student at Columbia University was arrested by ICE agents in Vermont during what he thought was a naturalization interview.
Public officials who try to put restraints on what ICE does in their jurisdiction are similarly facing intimidation and arrest, including Newark, New Jersey, Mayor Ras Baraka, who faces fines and jail time after entering a highly controversial privately-run ICE detention facility in his city.
