President Donald Trump was greeted by protesters during his twenty-first visit to his Mar-a-Lago resort on Friday, the Palm Beach Postreports.
Trump's golf vacation also features large fundraisers for the Trump Victory Committee.
"A few hundred people lined Southern Boulevard to watch the motorcade, with Trump supporters outnumbering opponents. Near the Southdale Shopping Center, two people hoisted a red 'Trump 2020' sign while a man held a 'Welcome Fascists' sign and other signs read 'Impeach the Russian Asset,' 'Liar' and 'NRA Trump Kills Our Kids,'" the newspaper reported.
However, one Trump supporter associated with the Bikers for Trump motorcycle gang predicted the president would win reelection in 2020 in a landslide.
“I think you’re going to see a groundswell ... I think you’re going to see him win by a huge margin, especially when you look at the jokers the Democrats are putting up," Doug Altman said. "They are going to kill each other in the primaries.”
"Others expected at Friday night’s fundraiser included Commerce Secretary and Palm Beach resident Wilbur Ross, Small Business Administrator Linda McMahon, Trump 2020 Campaign Manager Brad Parscale, Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle," the Palm Beach Post reported.
Trump has spent 86 days at Mar-a-Lago while in office. That is more than 11 percent of days in office.
Trump has also spent 51 days at his nearby Trump International West Palm golf course. That accounts for roughly one third of the 151 days he has spent at his golf courses.
Trump frequently criticized President Barack Obama for golfing while in office, but has since spent far more time at golf courses.
