Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke revealed that President Donald Trump calls him after work hours and silenced claims that he plans to run for Montana governor, according to Bloomberg.
On Friday, Zinke told “Montana Talks” radio show that Trump calls him at 2 a.m. with questions.
"He’s a business guy, so he’ll call at 2 o’clock in the morning if he has a question and all you got to do is your job. “If you do your job, he supports you. He’s great to work for. I tell you, every time I’ve asked him for something he’s delivered," Zinke said.
He also said that he was not going to run for governor. “I am not going to run for governor. We have some exciting candidates that I will support," he said.
In response to reports that he might leave his job, Zinke said, "there’s no truth to it.”
