Internet buries Giuliani for insisting new Mueller indictments absolve Trump of all wrongdoing

On Friday, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein issued a lengthy indictment charging Russian military officials with interfering in the 2016 election to aid the campaign of Donald Trump.

Naturally, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, was quick to jump to the conclusion that the report absolved Donald Trump of any wrongdoing.

"The indictments Rod Rosenstein announced are good news for all Americans. The Russians are nailed. No Americans are involved," Giuliani posted to Twitter. "Time for Mueller to end this pursuit of the President and say President Trump is completely innocent."
