Fox News host delivered blunt message from Trump-friendly crowd: 'Enough talking'

A conservative Georgia crowd delivered Fox News’ Steve Doocy a blunt message Friday regarding President Donald Trump’s war against Iran.

Doocy was reporting live from Big Doug’s Place in Hiram, Georgia, Friday morning as part of “Breakfast with Friends,” a recurring segment on “Fox & Friends” in which Doocy visits diners and restaurants around the country to interview Americans. One guest he spoke with identified himself as Steve Gainer.

“What’s the big issue for you and your family?” Doocy asked Gainer.

Gainer, who said his son was an Air Force technician working with B-2 bombers, named the U.S. war against Iran — which remains deeply unpopular among Americans — as his top issue.

“My big issue is the war. My son’s in the Air Force and it’s just time to end it,” Gainer said. “Enough talking, let’s just finish it.”

Doocy asked the packed restaurant who else agreed with Gainer, a question that was met with near-unanimous applause.

“The war has impacted so many people with the price of stuff,” Doocy admitted, whereas Trump has argued that cost hikes sparked by his war were a “very small price to pay.”

Despite Gainer’s apparent wish for the war against Iran to end, he was seen wearing a pin in support of Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA), who’s running for Senate. Collins voted against all six House resolutions aimed at reining in Trump’s war powers and bringing the conflict to an end.

Another Georgian Doocy spoke with identified herself as Sheree, and when asked what her “big thing” was, she named “the economy.”

“Going to the grocery store and seeing how much things cost… blows my mind,” she told Doocy.

Annual inflation climbed to 3.7% in September, according to the latest federal data, with gas prices soaring more than 34% from a year earlier. Grocery prices also remained higher than they were in 2025.
