‘Is this your airing of grievances?‘: The internet mocks Trump’s out-of-the-blue ‘Festivus’ gripes

President Donald Trump spouted off a series of seemingly random complaints against foreign adversaries and the so-called "geniuses" who ran his campaign -- and social media users laughed at him.

The president, whose beleaguered chief of staff Reince Priebus resigned Friday after incoming press secretary Anthony Scaramucci threatened insufficiently loyal staffers, appeared to take aim at campaign CEO-turned-chief strategist Steve Bannon in his first Saturday-night tweet.

Twitter users urged him to call down.

Trump next moved on to complaints about China.

At least some Twitter users felt like his stream-of-consciousness complaints resembled the "airing of grievances" from "Seinfeld's" Festivus holiday.

The president then signaled he's been talking to former UN ambassador John Bolton, a rumored replacement as national security adviser -- who called on China to "eliminate" North Korea by forcibly merging it with South Korea.

The scattered complaints seemed to unnerve Twitter users.
