Senior White House advisors Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner have successfully outlasted White House rivals, a Trump family biographer explained on MSNBC on Wednesday.
Emily Jane Fox, the author of Born Trump and a Vanity Fair reporter, joined MSNBC's "Deadline: White House with guest host Elise Jordan to discuss Donald Trump's increasing isolation.
"Emily, you wrote a great book about the Trump family and have studied the role of Donald Trump's children throughout his business and now his presidency," Jordan noted. "Does this mean they have more power than ever as Donald Trump is more isolated?"
"Sure," Fox replied.
"This is the best time to be Jared and Ivanka that there ever was -- and it's always been a good time to be Jared and Ivanka," she noted.
"They've outlasted everybody in the White House, they've outlasted all of the original crew, they have outlasted the second casting and now ... if they are able to fill the third casting -- they are still there," she added.
