Joy Behar: ‘Dictator’ Trump can’t stand SNL making fun of him -- a sign of his poor mental health

President Donald Trump and his administration were once again the target of ridicule on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, and the crew from The View believes that's a sign of a healthy democracy.

While discussing SNL's sketches from this past Saturday -- which not only mocked Trump, but also White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer and political strategist Steve Bannon -- co-host Joy Behar said that it's vital for comedians to keep mocking Trump.

"I think that comedy is subversive," she said. "And there's nothing a dictator hates more than being made fun of... This must get under everybody's skin when they make fun of them."

"Well, we know that it does because he tweets out about it," replied co-host Sunny Hostin.

Later in the segment, Behar said that she found it disturbing that Trump doesn't seem to have a sense of humor about himself, as he regularly lashes out at comedy shows that make fun of him.

"Having a sense of humor about yourself is a sign of mental health," she said. "And I don't see this guy laughing. I've never seen him laugh. He smiles, now and then, when he says something he thinks is great, but he doesn't laugh, and I find that bizarre."
