Kris Kobach loses Kansas Governor seat to Laura Kelly

Kris Kobach lost his race for Kansas governor Tuesday against state Sen. Laura Kelly.

After the Kansas economy took an epic tumble during Gov. Sam Brownback's reign, Kansans have begun looking for someone new.

The race was said to be extremely close as Independent candidate Greg Orman refused to pull his name from the ticket, despite being a Kobach opponent.

Kobach was seen as a close ally of President Donald Trump and worked on the election fraud panel. However, the panel was shut down when they couldn't find cases of widespread voter fraud. Kobach was then scrubbed from the White House's website.
