'Like lice teaming up with crabs': Internet gasps at news Sarah Palin will rally for Roy Moore

With the Alabama Republican Senate primary election looming, former Trump White House aide Sebastian Gorka and former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin will be teaming up to help rally support for controversial GOP candidate Roy Moore.

As Axios reports, Gorka is "co-headlining a rally with Sarah Palin in Montgomery, Alabama on Thursday night" to back Moore's candidacy, despite the fact that President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have both endorsed rival Luther Strange.

Earlier this year, Moore offered praise for Russian President Vladimir Putin for his promoting laws that repress homosexuals, while at the same time attacking the United States for legalizing gay marriage. Moore has also suggested that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were God’s way of punishing America for turning away from Biblical law.

News that both Palin and Gorka would be headlining a rally for such a candidate sent shockwaves of both laughter and horror throughout the internet, as one Twitter user described their alliance as "lice teaming up with crabs."
