A judge on Tuesday shut down the suspect accused of gunning down a health care CEO in Manhattan last week following outbursts both inside and outside the courtroom, according to a report.
Luigi Mangione, 26, shouted at the crowd outside the courthouse where he was arraigned, and that didn't stop when he entered the courtroom.
MSNBC justice correspondent Ken Dilanian reported that once inside, Mangione continued with outbursts and tried to defend his case. The preliminary hearing was for bail.
He disputed extradition from Pennsylvania back to New York and was denied bail.

The charges against him in New York are one count of murder for the alleged slaying of UnitedHealth CEO Brian Thompson, three counts of criminal possession of a weapon, and an additional count of a forged weapon. Dilanian said that contesting extradition may mean the trial won't hit New York for about a month.
"As you saw there, he is displaying defiance outside the courtroom," the report said. "Inside, he was more reserved but he did speak up occasionally to try to contest some things the prosecutor was saying. When he mentioned he was found with a bag full of $8,000 of cash that had high-tech features, he spoke up to dispute that. His lawyer and the judge told him to stop talking."
Still, he appeared "to be animated and trying to defend himself," Dilanian continued.
