A Florida Democrat suggested Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) needs psychiatric help after calling her out on the House floor for spreading Russian propaganda about Ukraine.
Rep. Jared Moskowitz (R-FL) blasted the Georgia Republican during a debate on funding to assist Ukraine in its war against Russian invasion, saying she was parroting Vladimir Putin's conspiracy theories about Nazis and sharing his own family's history with Nazi Germany and the Holocaust, and he told CNN's Kate Bolduan that he couldn't explain Greene's behavior.
"[House] speaker [Mike] Johnson now has decided to move as Hakeem Jeffries, my leader, said, this is a Chamberlain or Churchill moment, and it looks like [Democratic minority] leader Jeffries is going to help potentially Mike Johnson make this a Churchill moment for all Americans, because that's really where we are," Mosckowtiz said. "We can't let the Freedom Caucus, the chaos caucus, the folks that literally want to see the world burn, the isolationists who would literally let Putin take Europe, who would let the ayatollah in Iran take Israel. That's what they would let happen if they got, if they got their way, and so we are the democracy in the world, we are the greatest country ever on the planet. It's our time to lead in the 118th Congress, and I think Democrats and Republicans are going to take that together related to this is what happened in committee [Wednesday] with Marjorie Taylor Greene."

Moskowitz challenged Greene's false claims that neo-Nazis were operating freely in Ukraine, which Putin has used as justification for his invasion, and he later filed a bill seeking to have her appointed the Russian president's special envoy to the U.S. Congress.
"I don't think there's a psychologist in the world that knows what's going on with Marjorie Taylor Greene," Moskowitz said. "I mean, we're going to have to study that for generations. I mean, it's just out of control, and what's getting frustrating to me is that other people, her members, her Republican colleagues who know this stuff, this lunacy, sit there, like, that's just another normal day. No, we've got to stop this nonsense."
