'Tyrannical lawfare': MTG is no fan of Trump's re-indictment

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) joined former President Donald Trump in railing against a superseding indictment handed down against Trump in the wake of two U.S. Supreme Court decisions.

Taking to the social media site X, Greene blamed President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, who, she said, appointed special counsel Jack Smith.

Smith, who was appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland, didn't hand down the indictment. But according to Greene, Smith is "continuing his tyrannical lawfare against President Trump with a brand new indictment."

"The Democrat Party, now led by Kamala Harris, wants to put every one of their political opponents in jail and ruin lives," she said, posting the indictment. "Under Democrat rule, America is a Communist country. They hate Republicans and will stop at nothing to put every single one of us in jail. It’s sickening!!"

MAGA supporters agreed with ragingreplies alleging "election interference," a term often used by Trump.
