Melania Trump confirms White House gossip -- and publicly slams John Bolton's deputy

First Lady Melania Trump has confirmed gossip and publicly suggested that a senior White House aide be fired on Tuesday, reports Bloomberg.
Mira Ricardel currently serves as the top deputy for national security adviser John Bolton. But she reportedly got into an argument with the first lady during her recent trip to Africa, regarding seats on Air Force One.
“It is the position of the Office of the First Lady that she no longer deserves the honor of serving in this White House,” Melania Trump’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said in a statement in response to a question about reports the first lady had sought Ricardel’s removal.
"It’s an extraordinary, if not unprecedented, move for the first lady’s office to publicly call for the firing of a NSC official," NBC News noted.
