A MAGA attorney who has threatened numerous foes of President-elect Donald Trump in recent months turned his gaze onto Gen. Mark Milley on Monday night — suggesting the former Trump administration official committed treason.
Milley, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Trump administration, said in 2021that he was not trying to "usurp authority" when he told Chinese officials he would warn them if the U.S. under Trump decided to attack.
"The calls on 30 October and 8 January were coordinated before and after with Secretary [Mark] Esper and acting Secretary [Chris] Miller’s staffs and the interagency," Milley said, according to NBC News.
"My task at that time was to de-escalate," he said.

Milley reportedly called Gen. Li Zuocheng of China's People’s Liberation Army to ensure they knew America had no plans to attack China. The calls were reported by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa.
The incident became the focus of ire for Mike Davis, a prominent MAGA attorney and conservative legal activist with deep ties to the Trump administration and Republican circles. Davis is the founder and president of the right-wing Article III Project, which is dedicated to defending constitutionalist judges and the rule of law.
"Remember when Bob Woodward and Robert Costa reported General Mark Milley offered to give China an advanced warning if President Trump ordered an attack? I do. Sounds like treason to me," Davis wrote on X late Monday. "Lawyer up, Mark. Nobody is above the law. January 20th is coming.
His latest threat comes less than a week after Davis went after Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, claiming, "You disenfranchised AZ voters and stole your election from Abraham Hamadeh." Davis accused Mayes of "plotting to overturn the will of American voters" and unlawfully obstructing Trump’s immigration "mandate."
