‘Mike Pence looks like he’s at a strip club’: MSNBC panel wonders if VP was even alive in Oval Office meeting

Panelists on MSNBC's "Deadline: White House" mocked the body language of Vice President Mike Pence during a contentious White House meeting with President Donald Trump, House Speaker-designate Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

"The stillness, it's extraordinary," former Republican strategist Steve Schmidt noted.

"That Pence is incredible," host Nicolle Wallace remarked.

"They're making, you know, they're redoing all these movies from when we were kids. I'm thinking if 'Weekend at Bernie's" is redone, that is your guy," Schmidt joked.

"I was riveted the first time I saw this, the second time I didn't hear anything, I was staring at Pence the whole time," Wallace admitted.

Later in the segment, the panel again mocked Pence.

"If you sit like that on a commercial airliner, what will happen is all the flight attendants will have a meeting up front to decide which one is going to check his pulse," Schmidt suggested.

"Mike Pence looks like he's at a strip club -- he's horrified," suggested Elise Jordan.

"I want whatever he's taken, that's some kind of Zen," Wallace joked.

"What's amazing is he can keep his entire body so perfectly still, we see slight movement in the head -- incredible posture," Schmidt concluded.
