According to multiple sources who spoke with ABC News, former President Donald Trump's campaign chairman Paul Manafort has not fully cooperated with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
In September, Manafort agreed to cooperate with Mueller's team, however, he has not been providing them with the information "that they want."
His lack of cooperation could impact his sentencing. The plea agreement states, "Should it be judged...that the defendant has failed to cooperate fully, has intentionally given false, misleading or incomplete information or testimony...the defendant will not be released from his pleas of guilty but the Government will be released from its obligations."
Judge Amy Jackson said that consequences for breaching the plea agreement could result in"fines to extended prison time."
While the agreement is still binding, sources say that Mueller is growing "frustrated" with the lack of information that Manafort is providing.
Manafort's spokesperson declined a request for comment, and a spokesperson for Mueller's team has not responded.
