QAnon cultist starts to wonder if it's all been a scam: 'None of these hopes and ideas have ever been fulfilled'

While many QAnon conspiracy theorists are still sticking to the belief that "the plan" will come to fruition, there's a slow trickle of people who were adherents to the fringe movement who are now expressing doubts due to the fact that none of the predictions have come true.

QAnon believer, former congressional candidate, and InfoWars host Deanna Lorraine is starting to have doubts about QAnon. She first questioned QAnon during a rant on her show last month, asking if people's belief in the conspiracy theory's baseless claims are a "detriment" to Trump supporters.

"Maybe things failed," she said. "Maybe the QAnon operation wasn't real. Maybe some things weren't really the truth."

During a livestream this Wednesday, Lorraine raised her doubts again, saying that she's "sick of just looking at clues and taking guesses and kind of following down a rabbit hole where it leads to nothing."

"There's just a lot of broken promises that are not delivered," Lorraine said in a video clip flagged by Right Wing Watch, adding that a "patriot doesn't blindly follow a plan."

"We shouldn't be blindly following anything or anyone, especially when there's no evidence for that plan ever materializing. Every time that this plan was supposed to happen, or Trump was supposedly playing 5-D chess and supposedly setting traps or about to do this, at no point in the last four years has that trap ever been closed ... None of these hopes and ideas have ever been fulfilled. Not one. So, a smart person looks at the evidence, looks at historical evidence, looks at a track record, and doesn't keep doing or wishing [for] something that has no evidence for it being able to materialize."
