Bombshell Russian intel report seems to implicate Giuliani at the center of a campaign to influence Trump's inner circle

It was revealed by the U.S. National Intelligence Council, that Russia coordinated with President Donald Trump and his campaign and advisers to try and impact the 2020 election.

The New York Times revealed after the report was released that it may not have named names, but did "reference to the work of Mr. Trump's former personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani, who relentlessly pushed allegations of corruption about Mr. Biden and his family involving Ukraine."

"Russian state and proxy actors who all serve the Kremlin's interests worked to affect U.S. public perceptions in a consistent manner," the report said.

Calling it "the most comprehensive intelligence assessment of foreign efforts to influence the 2020 vote," the Times said that Russia, Iran and other countries sought to impact the election and while China considered it, they decided against it.

Unlike in 2016, there were no efforts to change ballots by Russia. Hackers who did attempt to probe state and local networks weren't affiliated with the Russian government, said the piece.
