Sean Hannity melts down online: He’s 'slowly losing his mind right before our eyes’

Sean Hannity spent Tuesday evening declaring journalism dead and arguing with Twitter users after offering the Obama family a one-way ticket to Kenya if Donald Trump wins the election.

"I have an offer for the president," Hannity said Tuesday morning on his daily radio show. "I will charter a plane for you and your family. I will charter it to the country of your choice. You want to go to Canada? I'll pay for you to go to Canada. You want to go to Kenya? I'll pay for you to go to Kenya. Jakarta [in Indonesia], where you went to school back in the day, you can go back there."

He spent the rest of the day floating conspiracy theories about media bias based on Wikileaks revelations, and then posted an image declaring "journalism is dead" that appeared to invoke "Dolchstoßlegende" -- the Nazi myth that Germany lost World War I because its army was stabbed in the back by disloyal civilians.

That's when Twitter users pounced.

Hannity admitted he was not a journalist, much like a wounded animal concedes its injuries are painful by bellowing and lashing out.

The ongoing debacle left some Twitter users concerned about Hannity's mental health.
