Second Trump Organization employee sought immunity in Cohen case -- but was denied

Another Trump Organization employee discussed an immunity deal with federal prosecutors but was unable to reach an agreement with the same investigators who charged Michael Cohen.

That employee was not called to testify before the grand jury, and prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York decided against granting him immunity, reported CNN.

Reporters were unable to determine the identity of the employee.

Allen Weisselberg, the Trump Organization's chief financial officer, was granted immunity by prosecutors investigating Cohen and hush money payments the attorney made to women who claimed affairs with Donald Trump.

Prosecutors also granted immunity to Trump friend David Pecker, the publisher of the National Enquirer, who told investigators that Trump knew about Cohen's payments in the weeks ahead of the presidential election.
