Stephen Colbert nails it: ‘Half of the country is voting for the asteroid’

Stephen Colbert certainly took advantage of his one-night-only show on Showtime with both nudity and swearing. But when he talked about the election turnout he didn't hold back.

"This one is a nail-biter and a passport grabber," Colbert joked. "It feels like we're trying to avoid the apocalypse and half of the country is voting for the asteroid."

He joked that half of the country was on edge, like the edge of the country "waiting for [Donald] Trump to win so they can walk into Canada."

Colbert noticed the hilarious moment of when Trump looked over at his wife Melania's ballot while she was voting. "This was the first time Trump was caught cheating off one of his wives instead of on one of his wives," he joked.

He even managed to set up his own magic map to perfectly capture the candidates. Once Trump wins a state it turned bright orange and when Hillary Clinton won a state it would disappear.

Taking advantage of the paid-channel options, Colbert then brought out his special helper, a naked man with a card taped over his genitals covered with announcements. In this case, he was announcing that Sen. Marco Rubio would be re-elected to the U.S. Senate.
