Stephen Miller's third-grade teacher: 'He was a strange dude' -- and he ate glue

Stephen Miller's third-grade teacher still recalls the White House senior adviser as an odd boy with strange habits.

Teacher Nikki Fiske told The Hollywood Reporter that she never worried about Miller academically, but she was concerned about him in more fundamental ways.

"Do you remember that character in 'Peanuts,' the one called Pig Pen, with the dust cloud and crumbs flying all around him?" Fiske said. "That was Stephen Miller at 8."

Fiske said Miller's desk was crammed full of "stuff," and she never could read his handwriting.

"He was a strange dude," Fiske said. "I remember he would take a bottle of glue — we didn't have glue sticks in those days — and he would pour the glue on his arm, let it dry, peel it off and then eat it."

Fiske wrote down her concerns about his loner tendencies and other strange personal habits at the end of the year in his school record, but she said Miller's "horrified" parents apparently convinced the principal to cover up the fears with "Wite-Out."
