On Tuesday, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said that he will make a decision on releasing President Donald Trump's tax returns on May 6.
This is the first time Mnuchin has set a deadline, according to The Washington Post.
"Mnuchin’s letter, sent to House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal (D-MA) came as the Treasury Department missed a second deadline for providing six years of Trump’s tax returns, which Neal had requested several weeks ago," the report said.
