The View's audience roars with laughter as the hosts unleash on Trump's taxes

"The View" co-host Meghan McCain agreed bombshell revelations from President Donald Trump's tax returns could sink his re-election bid, after voters realize his scam.

The conservative McCain frequently complains that Democrats are moving too far left for most voters, but she and host Whoopi Goldberg agreed it was outrageous that Trump paid no income tax between 1985 and 1994, according to the newly revealed documents.

"I'm sorry -- I'm pissed," Goldberg said, as the audience cheered.

McCain said that was an effective arguments for Democrats, who could say Trump scammed the system.

"He scammed the system for so long," she said. "He lost a billion dollars. I've never been a business woman, (but) a billion dollars seems like a lot of money to lose."

The audience laughed at her deadpan joke, and co-host Joy Behar pointed out no other taxpayer lost quite so much.

"If you're Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren or Joe Biden right now," McCain said, "you can say even if the economy is doing well, it's off the benefit of corporations and people like Donald Trump, who have been able to game the system for so long. I think this is the message that could actually be the kill shot going into our next election cycle."

Co-host Sunny Hostin wasn't sure Trump's base would care, but McCain thinks independent voters will.

"Look at the bigger picture," said co-host Abby Huntsman. "You could have been sitting on your butt for 10 years ordering clothes from Amazon and lose less money than he did in 10 years. The money he got from his dad, if he let it sit and do absolutely nothing, maybe invested it, he would have done better, actually."

Huntsman said Trump's wealth was the only thing that he truly cared about, so this record of failure had to be devastating for him.

"Final pinpoint," McCain said. "When he was roasted by Comedy Central, the only rule was you couldn't make fun of him not having as much money, that's the only rule."

Behar said that's why Trump hated former "View" co-host Rosie O'Donnell, because she made fun of his wealth, and she asked one final question for Trump voters.

"Would you want him investing your money?" Behar said.
