Donald Trump was asked about the bomb threat on Judge Arthur Engoron on the final day of his fraud trial in New York.
Trump popped into a Casey's gas station where he grabbed a few boxes of pizza when CNN's Kate Sullivan asked Trump if he had any reaction to police responding to the threat on the day of the closing arguments.
“No, I don’t know. I hate to hear that, but I don’t know anything about that," Trump said before walking away.
It prompted questions.
Legal analyst Allison Gill of the "Mueller, She Wrote" and "Jack" podcast noted, "'I don’t know anything about that' is an interesting response to 'what’s your reaction.'"
"Oh well, in that case …" quipped columnist and commentator Molly Jong-Fast.
Bomb threats and assassination threats have plagued some who challenge Trump. Last week, one expert called it "a pattern you can't ignore."
