President Donald Trump has added new, MAGA-inspired art to a historic presidential retreat, The Daily Beast reported on Friday.
Trump met with his cabinet at Camp David, and a new image appeared on the wall behind him. Near a historic photo of former President Dwight D. Eisenhower and his cabinet was a new image of Trump and his own cabinet meeting at the White House in May, showing red 'USA 250 Anniversary' MAGA hats placed on the table in front of each member of the president's inner circle.
"It was, perhaps, no coincidence that those same hats were selling for $55 a head at the Trump merchandise store," The Daily Beast pointed out.
On Friday, a table outside the meeting had red hats and green hats with the numbers "45 & 47" stitched on them.
Trump told the media that the location was "something very unique."
"It’s Camp David, and this room is a very, very special room," Trump said.
