Donald Trump is reportedly considering his son-in-law Jared Kushner as the next White House chief of staff.
HuffPost reported that Kushner's name is in the running after Trump went "through his first choices for his chief of staff vacancy without any luck."
A Republican close to the White House told HuffPost that Kushner met with his presidential father-in-law on Wednesday about taking the position.
HuffPost's GOP source, as well as two others with knowledge of the situation, confirmed that Kushner is interested in the role.
The report added that Trump is said to be down to five finalists for the role.
