Trump defender Matt Schlapp fumbles about as he is fiercely grilled by Bill Maher over president's scandals and lies

During a one-on-one interview with conservative Matt Schlapp, Real Time host Bill Maher confronted the unwavering booster of Donald Trump with a list of the president scandals involving porn starts, cash payoffs, hiring family members and various other scandals that have led to multiple investigations.

To get his point across, the HBO host pressed Schlapp, whose wife works in the White House, with a list of Trump scandals using the format of: If Obama did this.

"If he had an affair with a porn star, paid hush money to a porn star,” was one question Maher asked along with “if he gloated with the Russians in his office after firing the head of the FBI.

For his part, Schlapp sidestepped the questions, spinning Trump as a truthteller who “actually keeping the big promises he has made."
