A major Donald Trump donor is threatening to unleash what he claims is a devastating recording that could bring down the president’s administration — and potentially derail the political futures of some of its biggest names.
Eric Deters made the extraordinary claim in a video that began circulating Thursday, promising to release a 16-minute phone conversation containing damaging information about former Trump ambassador Kimberly Giulfoyle.
“This might just bring down the entire Trump administration,” Deters warned. “It also may end the JD Vance-Marco Rubio ticket after you hear the phone call that I’m going to play tomorrow.”
Deters claimed that the recording contains “the most explosive, most devastating information about Kimberly Giulfoyle to date,” insisting that major news organizations don’t yet have it.
“No one in the media has it,” he declared Thursday. “Mail Online doesn’t have it. Wall Street Journal doesn’t have it.”
The Trump donor also took aim at White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, predicting that she could lose her job over the purported revelations.
“It’s my opinion that I have brought down the Greek ambassador,” Deters said. “It’s my opinion that Susie Wiles is going to go.”
The video quickly attracted attention online, with prominent progressive influencer Brian Krassenstein sharing the clip and calling it an “OCTOBER SURPRISE!”
“In a shocking video clip from major Trump donor Eric Deters, he threatens to bring the “entire Trump administration down,” Krassenstein told his X followers.
Deters has not yet publicly released the recording.
