'Trump is done': Legal expert says ex-president faces more risk in criminal cases

As the screws turn on Trump's wallet to pony the nearly $500 million in civil judgements — it could hurt him in his remaining cases.
That's former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner's summation in his latest "Justice Matters' episode.
"Donald Trump is circling the drain financially," he said after painting a metaphor of a shower drain twisting as the water levels lower. "And I have a feeling it's more than his financial circumstances that are going to get swept down that drain... I think it's going to begin to infect everything: his criminal cases, his other pending civil cases, he's lost case after case after case and he's about to be criminally prosecuted in case after case after case."

"This is going to infect everything."
Aside from the $83.3 million defamation case that Trump suffered and must post, former President Donald Trump also suffered a $454 million judgment levied by New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron in a civil fraud case that was prosecuted by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Trump has 30 days or until March 25 to deliver.
“The exorbitant and punitive amount of the judgment coupled with an unlawful and unconstitutional blanket prohibition on lending transactions would make it impossible to secure and post a complete bond,” reads Trump’s lawyers' filing in appeals court.
Kirschner says if Trump's truly a billionaire like he's always "bragging about, puffing about, and bloviating," then he could float the full amount; it would suggest his real estate portfolio is worth "billions of dollars."
"Do you know how easy it would be to for him to get a bond," Kirschner asked in the hypothetical. "A bondsman or insurance company would say 'Of course we'll put up the bond, all you have to do is put up your property as collateral.'"
Only that's not happening. Which has Kirschner thinking this could be the chink in Trump's billionaire veneer.
He said: "Boy, it feels likes it's becoming clearer every day that Donald Trump is done. That's a good thing."
